A couple of tricks that I got from users by e-mail:
- Prevent Sleep (Thanks to Ji-Won)
- In some phones, the screen will turn off automatically when user pick up the call. This event make the app stop recording the conversation. Prevent sleep can avoid this issue (For most Samsung phones - especially Galaxy S).
- Delay Time (Thanks to Oren)
- Sometimes the app will lock your mic and will ruin your phone when you pick up the phone with RMC running on the background. The solution: You have to restart your phone and put delay about 3-4 seconds before start to record the call (For HTC Evo)
- Change your phone kernel (Thanks to Alexandra)
- In Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 the app cannot access the mic because of 'something'. The solution Change the kernel (in this case Speedmod is the solution). Probably the same method will work for other phones.
Some phones get a problem when they update a new version
- Database problem:
- Try to remove it manually with file browser, go to folder 'SD-Card'->'RecordMyCall'->'Database'. Delete the database folder and try the app again. But it will delete all Nexiwave data (if you use it).
